Our cattery

A small cattery shaped by care.

Showme Zia Sphynx is rooted in the high desert of Jemez Springs, New Mexico. We raise affectionate, social companions with patience, kindness , and a deep respect for the homes they will join.

The Showme Zia approach

The relationship comes first.

I believe bringing home a Sphynx should feel considered, not rushed. From early socialization to the conversations we have with prospective families, every choice is made with the kitten’s long-term wellbeing in mind.

Our name nods to the New Mexico landscape we call home: warm, distinctive, and full of quiet character. That sense of place informs a calm, connected beginning for every kitten we raise. The name also reflects my state birthplace, Missouri.  I have bred Sphynx kittens since 2003. In 2008 I took a break from breeding due to the death of my mother. I started breeding again in 2021. During that break I always owned my own pet sphynx. I have a vast knowlege of the breed and can offer assistance with kittens after placement.

Our foundation

Care you can see in the details.

01

Thoughtful pairings

We plan with health, temperament, and responsibile breeding in mind.

02

Early connection

Kittens grow up with attentive handling and household rhythms, building the confidence to thrive in a devoted home.

03

A lasting resource

Placement is the beginning of a relationship. We share practical support as families prepare, settle in, and grow together.

Health & pedigree

Clarity is part of responsible breeding.

We believe families deserve open conversations about lineage, health practices, daily care, and the commitment Sphynx ownership entails. Individual kitten profiles will share the details available for each placement, and we welcome thoughtful questions throughout the process.
